Are you looking for a fresh smoky eye look that’s just as alluring as the one achieved with black eyeshadow? Look no further than the colour red. We’re talking burned and flaming hot, this shade is perfect for a hot night out. Follow the steps below for a fire-inspired smoky eye using Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette.
What you’ll need
Urban Decay Naked Heat Eyeshadow Palette
Step 1: Begin by using the lightest beige-toned highlighter shade, Ounce at the very end of the palette. Take the tapered highlighter brush and swipe underneath your browbone before dotting your tear ducts too.
Step 2: Next, switch to the first yellow shimmery shade called Sauced. Using your eyeshadow brush, dust your entire eyelid leaving your lash line blank.
Step 3: When you’re satisfied with the colour on your lids, turn to the spicy burnt orange shade, Low Blow. Use your eyeliner brush to swipe it on the outer corners of your eyes and along your lower lash line.
Step 4: Next comes the ultimate spicy chilli shade called He Devil. Using the same eyeliner brush, dust the colour on your upper lash line and along your eye crease. Make sure you layer it on well for the colour to really pop!
Step 6: No smoky eye is complete without a full on dedicated blending job. Using the blending brush, gently smudge the shades on your eyelid until evenly balanced.
Step 5: Finish off your smoking hot look with a coat of black mascara and an orange toned glide-on eyeliner. Use on both the upper and lower lash line.
Feel free to switch up the shades to create a heat intensity you’re comfortable with. Choose the darker burgundy shades at the end of the spectrum for a more daring look with the lighter shades keeping you sweet and spicy.
